The client participates in OMIE power exchange bids for the day-ahead market and aims to minimize portfolio balancing costs. Consequently, they require twice-daily delivery of day-ahead forecasts for the total aggregate.
Damien RAYNAUD and Guillaume TREMOY took part at the 7th International Conference Energy and Meteorology from June 27 to 29,2023. Topics addressed:- Solar energy assessment and forecasting in insular regions: the Tahiti case study- West African solar forecast errors and their link with meteorological conditions: case study of the Zagtouli solar farm (Burkina-Faso)- West African Mineral Dust: a key in the NExus ClimaTe – WATer – Energy
Our team is thrilled to announce the launch of our new forecasting system, which promises to change the way you make use of weather and power forecasts. Increased flexibility and autonomy, improved accuracy and risk assessment, live updates, and actionable decision-support tools.
Manage your operations effortlessly with the API's broad functional scope, including plants portfolio management, forecast retrieval, and production measurement transmission.Check out our blog post to find out more.

Steadysun is taking part in the NETWAT (NExus ClimaTe - WATer - Energy) research project. This project aims at developing technological solutions to foster the integration of photovoltaic (PV) production in West Africa without compromising the sustainability of water resource management; a major issue in this region which records the highest atmospheric dust load in the world.

EDT ENGIE uses our intraday forecasts up to 12 hours ahead for energy dispatch scheduling (diesel gensets, hydropower, storage), and intra-hour forecasts up to 10 minutes ahead to manage spinning reserves in real-time. Last September 11, forecasts even helped EDT ENGIE supply the Tahitian grid with 100% renewable energy for one hour.
