Steadysun roadshow in Australia next September 2022

OUR BLOG

Steadysun organises a roadshow in Australia to answer your issues about solar energy variability

From 5 to 16 September 2022, Steadysun will be present in Australia to be as close as possible to your problems and to respond to them.

To do this, we will be present:

On stand 13 on 6-7 September 2022 at the Energy and Mines Australia Summit in Perth.

In the context of global warming, this event is dedicated to Australian mines looking to turn their operations more energy efficient. Indeed, as the mining industry becomes increasingly concerned about its environmental impact, it is looking to make its operations greener through the use of photovoltaics.

These mining areas are not interconnected to the main electricity grid, they are forced to generate their own electricity using diesel generators, at a high cost to the environment and also to their economy.

Therefore, the use of solar energy is a relevant solution to this problem. However, this is not without constraints.

Indeed, operators of hybrid systems are confronted with various problems such as:

variability of renewable energy

load shedding

oversizing of storage capacities, leading to high CAPEX

or the need to have a spinning reserve that is always running, leading to high OPEX.

If you can't make it to the show, don't worry! Eric Van de Wiele is organising a roadshow from 5 to 16 September 2022.

5 and 8 September in Perth

9 and 10 September in Melbourne

12 to 16 September in Sydney

And 14 September in Brisbane
