SteadySat now available on the American continent

April 20th, 2015

SteadySat solution is now available in America for solar energy production forecasting up to a 6 hour time horizon.

GOES geostationary satellites send images every 15 minutes in visible and several infrared spectrum, like METEOSAT satellites already used by Steadysun for Europe and Africa. Steadysun experts rely on GOES satellite data to predict solar power plant production by determining changes in cloud cover and ground irradiance.

Together with SteadyEye and SteadyMet, the whole Steadysun service portfolio is now available over the whole American continent.
